Sudbury is an historic market town in West Suffolk in the East Anglia region of the UK. It is mentioned in 101 Dalmatians as well as being reputed to be the inspiration for Eatanswill in the Dickens book 'Pickwick Papers'. Birthplace of the artist Thomas Gainsborough the town has many old buildings and has retained the old fashioned character of a market town. Sudbury has a thriving array of sports teams from the Cricket Club, known as 'The Talbots' to the towns football team AFC Sudbury. Along the way there is also the Rowing Club which has just held it's 136th Regatta. Plus Tennis, Hockey, Bowls, Croquet not forgetting Sudbury Rugby Club. Cwp has images from several of these teams and is keen to work with more, providing a reportage style of coverage for any event. Team calenders and other promotional endeavours are also welcome.
